The O.B. Lwanda Peacock is a striking selectively bred African cichlid that combines the characteristics of the popular Lwanda Peacock with the distinctive O.B. (Orange Blotch) pattern. These fish can develop impressive combinations of blue, orange, red, yellow, and irregular dark blotching, giving each individual a unique appearance.

Mature males typically develop the strongest coloration, often displaying brilliant blue across the face and body contrasted by vibrant orange or red areas and bold O.B. markings. Juveniles may initially show more subdued coloration, with their colors and patterns becoming increasingly pronounced as they mature.

O.B. Lwanda Peacocks are semi-aggressive and are well suited for appropriately sized African cichlid aquariums with other Peacocks and compatible Haps. Providing plenty of swimming space along with rockwork and visual barriers can help manage territorial behavior.
