Because we sell live animals, inventory may change rapidly.

We reserve the right to:

3. Live Animal Purchases

Customers acknowledge that live fish, shrimp, plants, and other livestock are living organisms.

Although every effort is made to ship healthy livestock, we cannot guarantee compatibility with existing aquariums, water quality, or husbandry practices after delivery.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Proper acclimation
  • Appropriate water parameters
  • Quarantine when necessary
  • Long-term care

Failure to provide proper care is not grounds for refund or replacement.


4. Live Arrival Guarantee

Eligible livestock shipments are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee as outlined in our Return Policy.

Claims must follow all posted requirements.

Failure to meet those requirements may result in denial of the claim.


5. Shipping

Shipping estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.

MAPS Aquatics & Exotics is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Shipping carriers
  • Weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Holidays
  • Carrier service interruptions

We reserve the right to delay shipping if weather conditions may jeopardize livestock health.


6. Pricing

Prices may change without notice.

Occasionally pricing errors may occur.

If an item is listed incorrectly due to an error, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse the order and issue a refund.


7. Order Cancellation

Orders may be canceled before shipment.

Once an order has been packed or shipped, it cannot be canceled.

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and photographs.

  • Colors may vary.
  • Sizes are approximate.
  • Individual fish will vary in coloration and pattern.
  • Photos may represent the species but not the exact animal unless specifically stated.
