The Jardini Arowana, also known as the Australian Pearl Arowana, is a stunning freshwater predator prized for its metallic gold coloration, brilliant pearlescent scales, and elegant swimming style. Native to northern Australia and southern New Guinea, this species is highly intelligent, interactive, and quickly learns to recognize its owner, making it a favorite among experienced fish keepers.

Unlike Silver Arowanas, Jardini Arowanas have a stockier body, larger eyes, and distinctive pearl-like spotting across each scale. As they mature, they develop impressive metallic gold, bronze, and copper tones that make them a true centerpiece in any large aquarium.
